Scientific Research Institute of Electronic Technology (NIIET, part of the Element Group of Companies, MOEX: ELMT) annually participates in ExpoElectronica, the largest industry exhibition. The Institute actively competes for the prestigious Electronica Award in various categories, demonstrating the high level of its scientific and technical achievements.
This year, NIIET is competing for victory in the Electronic Component Base category with its project, “Development and Implementation of Mass Production of Microcontroller Series of Based on the Open RISC-V Architecture,” which includes the creation of four new 32-bit integrated circuits:
• K1921VG1T dual-core microcontroller for automated process control systems and industrial systems;
• K1921VG3T universal energy-efficient microcontroller with motor control functions;
• K1921VG5T universal microcontroller for portable systems;
• K1921VG7T low-pin count microcontroller.
The winners are determined based on the average final score, which is calculated using a formula that takes into account the points awarded by the jury and the points received during online voting. The Prize jury evaluates the nominees independently and does not act in the interests of the nominees, the Prize organizers, or any third parties.
Online voting will run from March 12 to 23. An online meeting of the Expert Jury, project defense, and the announcement of the Laureates are scheduled for March 24 and 25.
The Electronica Award is an independent annual event aimed at supporting and promoting the best innovative developments in the electronics industry on the Russian market. It recognizes the achievements of Russian electronics companies in designated areas through expert and public recognition. Not only innovations but also improved developments are eligible for participation.
