The official award ceremony for the winners of the “Press Service – Communication Industry” (PIK) open competition for press services and public relations departments of real economy enterprises took place in Voronezh. NIIET (a member of the Element Group of Companies, MOEX: ELMT) was awarded the honorary cup in the “Modern Production and Development – 2026” category.

The competition, aimed at raising the professionalism of PR specialists and identifying effective business media support tools, was held as an open project for the first time. Press services of industrial enterprises from all regions of Russia can now participate in PIK. This scale has unlocked new opportunities for exchanging experience among the country’s leading industrial centers.

The event was organized by Voronezh State Technical University (VSTU) and the editorial board of the «Industrial News» publication, with the support of the regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Union of Mechanical Engineers.

Why NIIET Received the High Award

The expert council highly praised NIIET’s media and information initiatives. Two of the enterprise’s projects were honored with the honorary cup: the “Digest of Information Resources on the Radioelectronic Industry” and the “STEK-V” scientific and technical journal. Among the key advantages of NIIET’s communication efforts, the experts highlighted the institute’s modern website and the team’s creative approach to engaging with the media and the professional community.

The “Digest of Information Resources on the Radioelectronic Industry” was launched in 2020. The project is the industry’s only free daily information source. It consolidates key news on radioelectronics, science, technology, and announcements of important events into a single issue.

Today, the digest is distributed via email and published on the official “Russian Electronics” channels on Telegram and the MAX messenger. The Telegram channel’s audience exceeds 5,900 subscribers, while the MAX channel has around 600 readers. The project serves as a platform for information exchange, bringing together representatives of the radioelectronic industry and helping enterprises effectively interact with the sector’s community.

The “STEK-V” scientific and technical journal has been published quarterly since 2024. The journal was established to strengthen links between science and production, serving as an open discussion platform. The publication features articles on modern developments in domestic microelectronics, digital platforms, CAD, and the application of artificial intelligence in industry. All articles undergo a double-blind peer review process. “STEK-V” presents the experience of leading scientists and practicing engineers, as well as the work of talented undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Composition of the Expert Council

This year, the expert council determined winners in 10 categories, ranging from traditional ones (“Best Press Service”, “Social Media Engagement”) to new topical tracks, such as “Creative Industries in Sector”. The expert council that selected the laureates included representatives from industry, academia, and government authorities:

Nadezhda Skripnikova – Professor at VSTU, Chairperson of the competition’s expert council;

Marina Andreychuk – Deputy of the Voronezh Oblast Duma;

Andrey Tsvetkov – Head of the Press Service Department of the Government of the Voronezh Oblast.

The honorary cup came as recognition of NIIET’s contribution to the development of sector-specific scientific and technical communication, the promotion of domestic developments, and the advancement of a unified information space for the radioelectronic industry.
