Scientific Research Institute of Electronicы (NIIET, a member of the Element Group of Companies, MOEX: ELMT) hosted an online seminar titled “NIIET — 65 Years from Idea to Modern Products” ahead of its upcoming major anniversary.

During the event, specialists provided detailed insights into the company’s flagship products. They introduced the audience to the key specifications of microcontrollers, highly in-demand power amplifier transistors, and gallium nitride (GaN) power transistors. They also clearly demonstrated the entire cycle of product development, manufacturing, and testing. Additionally, a virtual tour of NIIET’s Cleanrooms was organized, showcasing the state-of-the-art equipment utilized by the institute.

Today, radio-electronic equipment (REE) manufacturers often face a dilemma: should they use foreign components or prioritize Russian developments? This is why a key segment of the seminar focused on participants sharing successful case studies of replacing imported components in their projects with NIIET products. Such practices help domestic engineers and executives make informed decisions regarding component procurement and future manufacturing strategies.

A lively discussion and numerous questions directed at our specialists by the audience confirmed the relevance of the topic.

Participants highly praised the practical value of the topics covered and the opportunity to communicate directly with the product developers. In turn, NIIET specialists noted a high level of interest to their designs, both from long-term partner companies tracking all the enterprise’s new releases, and from those who are just getting acquainted with the institute’s product lineup. All materials used at the event are available for download in the “Seminars” section.
