A new issue of the scientific and technical magazine “STEK-V” has been published by the Scientific Research Institute of Electronics (NIIET, a member of the Element Group, MOEX: ELMT). The latest issue features researches and developments in radio electronics, microelectronics, information technology, artificial intelligence, and manufacturing automation.
“STEK-V” No. 11 opens with an analytical article by the Editor-in-Chief, Pavel Kutsko, titled “How to Sell Something Unneeded, or It Doesn’t Hurt to Ask.”
Why haven’t existing support measures yet created a mass market demand for domestic electronic components? The author analyzes the underlying causes of this situation and proposes a potential solution: launching state-backed pilot projects for specific types of radio-electronic equipment. According to Pavel Kutsko, such projects could establish more transparent conditions for market participants, incentivize the adoption of domestic component bases, and drive demand growth for Russian electronic components.
In thу article “Modern Approaches to the Computer-Aided Design of Flexible Manufacturing Systems,” I. V. Semeykin and A. S. Kravchenko examine computer-aided design methods and approaches to choosing the optimal structure for a manufacturing system, factoring in the specific characteristics of a given production facility.
A dedicated block of papers focuses on MEMS technology. In the article “A Review of Getter Utilization in Vacuum Technology,” P. S. Ivanin, E. E. Gusev, and K. V. Zolnikov discuss the application of getters and moisture traps, their design and thermal activation characteristics, as well as their compatibility with wafer-level packaging technology.
In the paper “Neural Network Classification and Forecasting Algorithms Based on a User’s Digital Footprint,” V. V. Maltsev explores neural network methods for processing behavioral data and their potential application in classification and forecasting tasks.
Production optimization challenges are addressed by T. V. Skvortsova, A. S. Yagodkin, and A. N. Potapov. In their article “Optimization Synthesis of Structural and Layout Diagrams for Reconfigurable Automatic Lines and Modular Machine Tools,” the authors investigate the choice of equipment structure for processing groups of packaging parts. Annualized processing costs are used as the optimization criterion, and a corresponding directed search method is applied to find the optimal solution.
In addition to these featured papers, the issue includes research covering a wide range of topics in radio electronics, information security, artificial intelligence, automation, and mathematical modeling.
