Vibrant emotions, the thrill of competition, and the joy of being one with nature—these are the perfect descriptions of the unforgettable event that became the highlight of the 65th anniversary celebrations of the Scientific Research Institute of Electronics (NIIET, part of the Element Group of Companies, MOEX: ELMT)! Last weekend, institute employees and invited guests dared the elements and staged a true fishing competition.
The tournament took place on a picturesque pond in the suburbs—a long-time favorite among avid anglers. The mirror-like surface of the water and the fresh air created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and friendly competition. Fifty participants—representatives of various NIIET departments and even entire families of employees—gathered there to test their luck and enjoy the beauty of nature. The goal was simple and beautiful: not just to identify the most successful angler, but to unite the team, provide an opportunity to take a break from the daily grind, and recharge with positive energy as part of the Institute’s 65th anniversary celebrations!
The competition rules fueled the excitement:

From early morning, a special atmosphere reigned on the shore: participants laid out all sorts of gear, shared tips for successful fishing, joked, and encouraged each other. Some anglers confidently prepared bait, while others excitedly checked their rods—anticipation was in the air!
Time flew by. Some patiently waited for a bite, others changed baits in search of their luck, and still others joyfully landed their first trophy. Laughter, exclamations of delight, and friendly teasing filled the space—this was the day when colleagues became true comrades in the hobby!
When the signal sounded to end the competition, the judges began weighing the catches. The tension was mounting—who would emerge victorious? And finally, the results were announced. The awards ceremony was greeted with thunderous applause. The winners received certificates and the coveted victory trophies.
“It was incredible!” one of the competition participants shares his impressions. “I never thought fishing could bring a team so close together.
